Concentrating on application-based training, students will be taught the UX design tools and techniques as exercised in the industry to make students industry-ready and employable. This is a comprehensive UI UX program focused on overall student development with a mix of classroom assignments, practical fieldwork, live industry projects, internships, and shadow learning. Efforts have been taken to keep it industry-relevant, with original curriculum and content and continual up-gradation of the content.

A graduate from London College of Fashion, UAL specializing in Costume Design for performance. She has extensive industry experience in leading costume design teams for mainstream and niche regional cinema. Owing to her international exposure and Indian roots of design education she has a balanced perspective of fashion and textiles which helps her impart a glocal approach to fashion education. Being a progressive designer, she strives to address critical issues of sustainability and climate change through her projects and constantly pushes boundaries to re-imagine innovative fashion practices for the Future. Her research interests include Costume history, sustainability in clothing and textile, and heritage textiles.
Apart from academics, she nurtures an interest in sports, wildlife, nature, travel and documenting the tangible and intangible heritage of India.
A Fashion Educationist, free-lance designer, an ardent admirer of Craft & Textiles with an eye for perfection and detail, Dure has an inclination towards creative design expression that has led her to develop strong design sensibilities & Aesthetics. She has discovered herself working in unceasing leanings and growth with molding the creative bunch for the Fashion and Textile Industry. Rahul Raj is a postgraduate in Transportation & Automobile Design from Young India Design Society, Kochi, under PTC university, with 3+ years of experience in Industrial & Automobile design. He has served as an Automobile Designer in a Pune-based Electric Vehicle initiative called ‘Polarity Smart Bikes’, and also carries industry experience in Toyota and GM India as a freelance contract-based Exterior Stylist in 2010-11. His passion has been alive ever since and wishes to contribute to Design education for future designers. Rahul’s core interest areas include Product Design, Graphic Design, Architectural Design, Concept Art, 3d Digital Modeling, and Design Research. He also guides students in their projects to help them develop their skill level in automobile sketching and rendering since the moment he joined the ADYPU university.
Satyajit Kulkarni is a Senior Alias Automotive 3d modeler with 7+ years of industry experience. He holds a master’s in Industrial Digital Design from DSK ISD.
He has worked with Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Center, China, and Estech design of France. He was the first team member of Estech Design India. He has wide client exposure such as Renault, Citroen, Mahindra, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, and Ashok Leyland.
Uttam Hasabnis is an advertising & design professional, and educator, with 10+ years of experience which spans from a wide range of brands from various sectors to a vast array of clients.
His specializations include Brand Identity Design and Typography with a creative flair and innovative approach. He has worked as a Creative Director at Creativeland Asia Advertising Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai. He has also worked independently as a brand expert and creative consultant for various ad agencies, design studios. Uttam has received his B.F.A. from Kalaniketan Mahavidyalaya, Kolhapur. He believes in exhibiting his work and has won awards at many international events and competitions including Poster Design Winner for International Typography Day 2019, IDC, IIT Powai, Mumbai. His logos and brand works have been officially selected for many governmental organizations including CFSI, NCFF, URDC. He has also designed Brand Identities for several Bollywood celebrities. His writings on Brand Logo and “How to choose colors wisely” have been published in Creative GAGA magazine.
Manjitsingh carries 19+ years of experience in the field of design and has been associated with top design firms like Elephant Design and 3d Systems Corporation. He has bagged 300+ huge design projects. User Research & Interface are his interests considering his background in Graphic Design. Manjitsingh carries a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and multiple materials in 3d printing. He is passionate about creating effective Designs, 3d rendering with VR technology. His specialties include Advanced Design, Visualization with new technologies, Lighting, Animation, Modeling, Sketching by hand to use them in 3ds Max, Photoshop, and Sculpting. He has acquired an amazing understanding of combining UI & UX with high efficiency for maximum application flexibility.
Shruti Tambakhe earned her degree in B.Des (Industrial Design) from Symbiosis Institute of Design and M.Des from Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur. Shruti is passionate and believes in designing for solutions where product interaction along with customer satisfaction provides an efficient way to design. She has a keen interest in Design Thinking, User Interface, Visual Design, User Experience comprising Information Architecture and Information Design.
Mr. Kushal is an engineer in telecommunications and a postgraduate in Industrial Design. He began his career in design at MIT ID, Pune while studying Product design. He is a professional designer with 10 years of experience. His core expertise lies in materials and manufacturing processes, prototyping, electronic product design with a newly found interest in the design of urban farming systems.
Graduated from Assam Agricultural University Jorhat, Dr. Shilpi holds a Ph.D. degree from IIT Guwahati, Department of Design. Her specialization is in Human Factors & Ergonomics. She has also bagged the opportunity for a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Huaqia National University, Xiamen, China. Dr. Shilpi carries 2 years of teaching experience at MIT AOE, Alandi, Pune as an Assistant Professor at the School of Design and 5 years of teaching assistantship at IITG, along with 5 years of research experience. During her Ph.D. she was invited as a visiting scholar at Shantou University, China for research purposes. She has also written research papers in both journals and international conferences and patents. Her areas of interest include Ergonomics, Product Design, Interior Design, Design Thinking, Design Intervention, and Research.

Karthikeyan proudly carries a successful design career with 10+ years of experience in various automotive industries, dealing with exteriors, interiors, and digital design functions. With abilities in managing complex design projects, and delivering new ideas, concepts, and business processes. His strengths lie in the design and development of Innovative Design, Project Management, Organizational Skills, Digital Modeling, Clay Development, also Design Research with an extensive background in my expertise.
He has also been awarded titles such as ‘Champion of the Month’ in 2014 for his performance in the Hornbill project and received an Entrepreneurship fund of INR 65L annually for the innovation project ‘Personalisation using Advanced Manufacturing Methods like 3D Printing.’
He pursued his dream of becoming an automotive designer by taking up the bachelors course in Transportation Design offered at Istituto Europeo di Design(IED), one of the premier design schools in Turin, Italy. During his college years, he won prestigious design projects sponsored by Azimut Yachts and Aston Martin Motor company. Though he has been inundated with offers from internationally renowned automobile companies, his passion lies in pedagogy. His core interest areas include conceptualization, free hand and digital sketching and rendering, automobile design history, aesthetics and future mobility solutions. He has been guiding students in design projects since he joined the college as a full time faculty in 2010. Along with other senior faculty members, he has been instrumental in establishing the Automobile Design discipline in college .
