Chatori Galli: A Cultural Spectacle

April 20, 2022

ADYPU burst into life on April 20, 2022, as ‘Chatori Gully 2022’ made a joyful return after two-years, captivating staff and faculty with its grandeur. The event, inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Hrridaysh Deshpande, kicked off with a themed cake-cutting ceremony and an energetic flash mob performed by BBA First Year Students.

Guided by Sanskriti Jain’s leadership, students demonstrated their exceptional event planning skills, turning the venue into a vibrant carnival with 15 lively canopies housing student-managed food and game stalls. Drawing a crowd of over 2000 enthusiasts, the event embodied the mantra ‘Good Food Creates Good Mood,’ featuring more than 20 culinary delights and refreshing summer treats.

A two-hour live performance by the youthful musical band Aghaaz, sponsored by Balraj Productions, brought cultural talents to the forefront. The day culminated in a foot-tapping DJ night, boosting vendor sales and concluding the celebration on a lively note.
