National Service Scheme
On April 23, 2025, the School of Architecture conducted a workshop on Process Design and Development as part of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) activity. The workshop was organized for students and faculty members, with the objective of exploring various methods of designing a process and understanding its practical applications.
The session was graced by Dr. Utpal Kumar Sharma, a renowned architect, professor, and Head of the Institute of Architecture and Planning at Nirma University, Ahmedabad. Known for his extensive expertise in the field, Dr. Sharma delivered an insightful talk that highlighted the significance of structured design processes in architectural practice. His engaging presentation offered valuable perspectives, encouraging participants to adopt innovative and systematic approaches in their work.
The workshop was effectively coordinated and led by Prof. Aditi Garg, Prof. Shital Golhar, Prof. Sanjita M, and Prof. Shruti Ingole. Their guidance ensured an enriching learning experience for all attendees. The event successfully fostered academic and professional development, while inspiring participants to think critically and creatively about process-oriented design.
