Bridging Theory and Practice: ADYPU Law Students Visit Pune Family Court

February 25

On 8th February 2025, 16 final-year LLB students from the School of Law at Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) participated in an enriching educational visit to the Pune Family Court, accompanied by Dean Dr. Sunny Thomas of the School of Law.

This visit offered students a unique opportunity to observe live court proceedings and gain invaluable insights into the judicial system. The students interacted with legal professionals, including Advocates Ganesh Kawade, Prathmesh Bhoite, and Vikas Kamble, who provided practical knowledge on family law, trial procedures, and mediation techniques. Their firsthand accounts helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application.

The visit served as a key component of ADYPU’s ongoing commitment to combining academic learning with real-world experiences. This hands-on exposure plays an essential role in preparing students for successful careers in law by enhancing their understanding of the complexities of legal practice.

A heartfelt thanks to the Family Court Bar Association for their support and collaboration in making this visit a memorable and valuable experience for all involved. This initiative is a testament to ADYPU’s dedication to shaping well-rounded legal professionals equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.
