The All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation titled “Cultural Studies Readings – 2026: Russia and China – Cooperation in the Field of Culture and Education in a Multipolar World” was hosted at Ural Federal University, bringing together scholars and academic leaders from multiple countries to deliberate on cultural studies, education, and emerging global collaborations.
The conference featured a distinguished line-up of international speakers who shared research and perspectives on cross-cultural academic cooperation, educational mobility, and interdisciplinary scholarship. Among the notable presentations was a joint talk by Lü Chao from the Polytechnic University, Hangzhou, and Dr. Marina Vladimirovna Pankina of Ural Federal University, highlighting the experience and future prospects of cooperation between Russian and Chinese universities in the fields of science and education. Other sessions explored themes such as student adaptation within international academic programmes, research methodologies in cultural environments, and the integration of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in public sector evaluation.
A significant moment for India’s academic representation at the conference was the participation of Dr. Nishakant Ojha, Honorary Professor at Ajeenkya DY Patil University. Presenting jointly with Professor Stanislav Nikolaevich Nekrasov of Ural Federal University, Dr. Ojha delivered a scholarly address on “Multipolarity in Orbit – Aerospace Cooperation between Russia and China in the Emerging World Order.”
The occasion was particularly noteworthy for ADYPU, as it marked the university’s presence at one of Russia’s leading institutions, Ural Federal University, whose Chancellor is Vladimir Putin. Representing ADYPU at such a globally recognised academic platform underscores the university’s expanding international engagement and commitment to intellectual exchange.
Under the visionary leadership of Dr Ajeenkya D Y Patil, Chancellor of ADYPU, the university continues to strengthen its global academic footprint by fostering international dialogue, collaborative research, and participation in prestigious scholarly forums. The conference concluded with thematic academic discussions and the opening of the All-Russian exhibition–contest of educational works, further promoting knowledge sharing and cultural collaboration.
