The School of Management at Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) welcomed its new Postgraduate batch with Deeksharambh 2025 — an inspiring induction ceremony designed to spark ambition, curiosity, and leadership among future business leaders.
The day began with a lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the start of a transformative journey, led by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jain; Dr. Kamaljeet Kaur, Executive Vice President, ADYPG; Dr. Chetna Mehta, Dean, School of Management; and Guest of Honour, Mr. Piyush Shrivastava, Head – Marketing Communications, Corporate Communications & CSR, Fleetguard Filters Pvt. Ltd.
Highlights from the addresses:
Dr. Kamaljeet Kaur encouraged students to adopt a research-driven, project-oriented learning approach, think differently, and embrace challenges with courage.
Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jain shared the ABCD Mantra — Awaken the passion for learning, Believe in yourself, uphold Character and ethics, and Don’t give up. He urged students to lead with purpose and align with the vision of the New Education Policy.
Mr. Piyush Shrivastava brought real-world insights, emphasizing the importance of curiosity, effective communication, respect for every role, purposeful learning, and a clear vision. His message — “Your network is your net worth” — resonated strongly.
Dr. Chetna Mehta highlighted self-branding, being content, NBA Accreditation, global outreach programs, and the industry-aligned curriculum. She also introduced the distinguished faculty team.
The faculty team, comprising Prof. Dr. Vijay Ganpat Dhamore, Dr. Ninad Murlidhar Gawande, Dr. Bina Sarkar, Asst. Prof. Amol Marathe, Mr. Shrikant Dilip Dharurar, Asst. Prof. Nikhil Kakade and Prof. Arti Gupta were introduced to the new students.
Dr. Sudhakar Shinde (Registrar), reminded students to uphold discipline, participate actively, and make the most of campus opportunities. The event concluded with the distribution of an induction kit, symbolizing the readiness to embark on an academic and professional journey.
