ADYPU Organizes an Exclusive Student Lecture on Computational Engineering and Artificial Intelligence

3rd Oct 2025

Ajeenkya DY Patil University organized an exclusive lecture for students on Computational Engineering & Artificial Intelligence on 3rd Oct 2025 by globally renowned innovators Lin Kayser and Josefine Lissner, co-founders of Leap 71, Dubai. The session gave the students a chance to interact with global leaders, driving the future of advanced engineering and AI.

The programme began with Vice Chancellor Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jain, Registrar Dr. Sudhakar Shinde, and the guests lighting the lamp, which was preceded by their felicitations. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jain thanked Hon’ble President Dr Ajeenkya DY Patil for making it possible to hold such global knowledge-events. He also emphasized the importance of engaging with innovators like Lin and Josefine, inspiring students to embrace computational thinking and explore new technological frontiers.

The presenters showcased their innovative research in 3D printing, rocket motor simulation, and computational artificial intelligence systems, illustrating how algorithms allow for precision design for sophisticated applications, ranging from rocket engines to hypersonic vehicles. Live A.I.-enabled 3D printing and propulsion simulation demonstrations revealed the immediacy of theory applied to actual engineering.

The live Q&A session encouraged students to approach problems from outside the constraints of traditional thinking and reiterated ADYPU’s dedication to SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. Through the integration of students with visionary changemakers, the university is fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation—abetting the engineers and innovators of the future.
