ADYPU Hosts MERAKI 2025: A Dynamic Celebration of Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) successfully hosted MERAKI 2025, an experiential entrepreneurship festival that brought creativity, innovation, and student-driven ventures to the forefront. Organized by the Entrepreneurship Club and the School of Management, the event served as a vibrant platform for students to transform ideas into real-world experiences.

The festival was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jain, Executive Vice President Dr. Kamaljeet Kaur Sidhu, Dean – School of Management Dr. Chetna Mehta, along with Dr. Bina Sarkar, Dr. Vijay Dhamore, esteemed faculty members, and students. Their collective presence set an encouraging tone, highlighting the university’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurial learning beyond the classroom.

MERAKI 2025 turned the campus into a buzzing marketplace of innovation. Students showcased dynamic business stalls, artistic installations, design concepts, culinary innovations, and unique handmade products, each reflecting imagination, initiative, and practical problem-solving. The event functioned as a live entrepreneurial laboratory, enabling students to pitch ideas, interact with customers, test their concepts, and gain hands-on exposure to venture creation.

Speaking about the initiative, organizers emphasized that MERAKI 2025 is designed to help students learn by doing—cultivating resilience, creativity, and business acumen in an immersive environment.
