Ajeenkya D Y Patil Group (ADYPG) celebrated Founder’s Day 2025 with great reverence and enthusiasm on December 22, commemorating the birthday of its President and Chancellor, Dr Ajeenkya DY Patil—an eminent visionary educationalist, innovator, and humanitarian whose leadership has significantly transformed the higher education ecosystem.
The celebration commenced with a traditional Saraswati Vandana, invoking blessings for knowledge and wisdom, followed by a graceful cultural dance performance by the students of D. Y. Patil International School. These moments reflected ADYPG’s philosophy of holistic education, seamlessly integrating academics, culture, creativity, and values.
Addressing the gathering, Vice President, Ajeenkya D Y Patil Group, Dr E. B. Khedkar, paid rich tribute to Dr Patil, describing him as an educator par excellence, a visionary entrepreneur, and a compassionate leader whose unwavering commitment has inspired countless lives and reshaped the educational landscape.
A ceremonial cake-cutting marked the birthday celebrations in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Executive Vice President Dr Kamaljeet Kaur; Founder President of the Dr. D. Y. Patil Educational Federation; Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr Rakesh Kumar Jain; respected Deans of ADYPU Schools; Principals; Trustees; and enthusiastic school children—symbolising unity across generations within the D. Y. Patil ecosystem.
The PR & Editorial Team presented a special publication highlighting Dr Patil’s achievements, institutional milestones, and future aspirations. The occasion also recognised outstanding contributors from teaching, non-teaching, and support teams for their dedication and excellence, with special appreciation extended to the IQAC team for their pivotal role in the successful NAAC process.
Cultural excellence was further celebrated through the Navratri Awards, while several speakers highlighted Dr Patil’s philosophy of “Love All, Serve All,” which continues to define the ethos of ADYPG.
