Ms. Aastha Senapati, a student of the B.Tech. Biotechnology program from the School of Engineering at ADYPU, made the university and the nation proud by representing India at the 56th Semaine Olympique Française, held in Hyères, France, from April 17th to 27th, 2025.
The Semaine Olympique Française (translated as French Olympic Week) is a renowned international sailing regatta organized by the French Sailing Federation. This year’s event witnessed the participation of 729 elite sailors from 56 countries, competing in six days of intense racing across various sailing categories.
Aastha’s participation in such a prestigious global sporting event reflects her exceptional dedication, discipline, and talent, as well as ADYPU’s commitment to supporting holistic student development beyond academics. Her achievement serves as an inspiration to her peers and highlights the importance of perseverance and passion in pursuing excellence.
