Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU), in collaboration with AddOns-i, successfully hosted EduConTech 2025 on 12th September 2025, bringing together thought leaders from academia, technology, and industry to deliberate on AI integration, digital transformation, and sustainable innovation in higher education.
The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, graced by eminent thinker and writer Mr. Achyut Godbole, ADYPU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jain, and Registrar Dr. Sudhakar Shinde.
Delivering the keynote, Mr. Dipak Bagode (CEO, Creepon Edutech Pvt. Ltd.) spoke on “The Future of Higher Education in the Age of Technology”, highlighting how artificial intelligence and digital ecosystems are set to transform pedagogy, foster inclusivity, and build resilient academic networks.
Mr. Godbole captivated the audience with insights on AI applications across healthcare, journalism, and education, while stressing ethical adoption, leadership, and adaptability. Social entrepreneur Mr. Narendra Firodia shared entrepreneurial perspectives on digital classrooms, smartphones, and self-driven learning.
In his address, Dr. Jain reaffirmed ADYPU’s commitment to global benchmarks and preparing graduates as AI-ready professionals, while Dr. Shinde emphasized synergies between coaching institutions and universities, supported by NEP-aligned initiatives. Dr. Prashant B. Kumbharkar, Dean of Engineering, further explored the evolving relationship between traditional learning and digital ecosystems.
A key highlight of the event was the EduConTech Awards, recognizing excellence in digital leadership, teaching innovation, and educational entrepreneurship.Aligned with SDG-4 (Quality Education) and SDG-9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), EduConTech 2025 emerged as a catalyst for reimagining the future of higher education, reaffirming ADYPU’s role as a hub for forward-looking academic leadership and sustainable innovation.
