Pune, September 19, 2024—Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) proudly hosted the Drone Shaurya Global Summit, Expo & Awards on Unmanned Systems, a premier event showcasing advancements in drone technology and innovation.
The summit commenced with an inaugural address by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jain, who underscored the transformative potential of unmanned systems in shaping a secure and technologically advanced future. “Drones are not just tools for convenience but a leap toward innovation and self-reliance,” he stated, highlighting the significance of indigenous development in the field.
The event was honored by the presence of Vice Admiral Gurucharan Singh from the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, and Shri Anshul Sharma, Chairman of AERO, whose support further reinforced the summit’s vision.
Throughout the day, over 15 industry experts shared invaluable insights on emerging trends, applications, and the future of drone technology. The sessions highlighted the potential of unmanned systems across sectors, from defense and agriculture to logistics and disaster management.
