Dr. Nishakant Ojha, Advisor- Cyber & Aerospace Security Eminent Expert-Counter Terrorism (West Asia & Middle East ) visited Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Pune on 16th August 2024, where he held an important conversation with the Vice Chancellor – Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jain, Deans, and faculty members. 

During the meet-up, Dr Nishakant advocated for a strong collaboration between academics and the defense sector, focusing on the need to integrate emerging technologies with national security initiatives. 

Dr. Nishakant also emphasized the importance of developing joint research programs in cutting-edge projects such as cybersecurity, strategic management, drone technology, war area simulation, and biomedical advancements. His discussions with ADYPU officials focused on overcoming barriers to innovation and fostering an environment where cutting-edge research can directly contribute to national defense strategies.

Dr. Ojha’s vision represents a crucial step in aligning the university’s academic expertise with the pressing demands of national security.
