ADYPU Ham Radio Club on Echolink: Connect Anytime, Anywhere

The ADYPU Ham Radio Club is an active participant in the daily Echo link nets hosted on VU2DYQ — bringing members into a live, connected amateur radio community without leaving the room.

Echo link is a Voice over IP (VoIP) platform that allows licensed amateur radio operators to communicate over the internet, linking repeaters and individual stations across the globe. It removes the barrier of equipment and geography, making Ham Radio accessible to anyone with a smartphone and a valid license.

Two nets run daily on VU2DYQ. The morning session is held from 8:15 to 8:45 AM, and the evening session from 9:30 to 10:00 PM — both conducted by the Oscar Team, Kolkata. The evening net is operated as the VU2EN Memorial Echo link Net, held in honour of a respected figure in the Indian amateur radio community.

Getting started is straightforward: download the Echo link app on your mobile phone, log in with your license credentials, and connect to VU2DYQ to join the net—no antenna, no radio hardware — just a phone and a license.

For students at ADYPCoE and members of the ADYPU Ham Radio Club, these daily nets are an accessible entry point into active operating — building communication discipline, net etiquette, and a connection with the wider Ham Radio fraternity across India and beyond.

All licensed Hams are welcome to join.
