The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) plays a crucial role in monitoring the university’s progress and shaping its strategic direction. IQAC is responsible for conducting audits, implementing systems and procedures, and driving new quality initiatives to ensure continuous improvement across all academic and administrative domains.

The IQAC Policy is designed to make quality the cornerstone of ADYPU’s functioning. Through a robust mechanism of self-evaluation and external quality assessments, IQAC promotes the advancement and maintenance of high standards. By fostering a culture of excellence, the IQAC ensures that the university consistently delivers top-tier education and meets its strategic objectives.

The main purpose of having an Internal Quality Assurance Cell is not to build up a system of robust, integrated and effective action to maintain and improve the academic and administrative performance.

of IQAC:

    • Faculty Performance Monitoring: 2 feedback cycles per semester via faculty transcripts.
    • Faculty Feedback & Analysis: 2 cycles per semester.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Vision and Mission Alignment: Ensuring activities align with strategic goals.
    • Policy Formulation: Developing and revising quality-driven policies.
  • Quality Initiatives:
    • Best Practices: Promoting excellence in teaching, learning, and administration.
    • Innovations: Encouraging new approaches in pedagogy and research.
  • Capacity Building:
    • Training and Development: Organizing faculty/staff workshops and training.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation:
    • Performance Indicators: Tracking progress using KPIs.
    • Reporting: Monthly, semester, and specialized reports (placements, research, feedback).
  • Enhancing Student Experience:
    • Support Services: Improving counseling, career guidance, and extracurriculars.
    • Learning Resources: Expanding access to libraries, labs, and digital tools.
