Prof. (Dr.) Susanta Das is a seasoned educator with a proven record of teaching and mentoring diverse student populations, working at multiple institutions, and contributing to various organizational initiatives. He received his Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Physics from Western Michigan University (WMU), USA, and his M.Sc. degree in Physics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), India.

He continued his research as a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at Stockholm University, Sweden, working on beam diagnostics for DESIREE (Double ElectroStatic Ion Ring ExpEriment) under the DITANET project (Diagnostic Techniques for Particle Accelerators – a Marie Curie Initial Training Network). He also conducted research at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Kolkata, India, on high-pressure physics as a Project Scientist-B, and at the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan, on ion–surface interactions as a Postdoctoral Fellow.

Throughout his career, Dr. Das has worked and collaborated with numerous researchers, Ph.D. scholars, master’s students, and visiting scholars from different countries. He has visited several countries to present and discuss his research and has participated in international conferences in the UK, Italy, Germany, Greece, Belgium, Bulgaria, Romania, Brazil, and other countries. He worked at several institutions before assuming his current role at Ajeenkya D Y Patil University.

He has received several prestigious awards and fellowships, including the Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (Sweden), the Science Academies’ Summer Research Fellowship (India), the Gowen Frostic Doctoral Fellowship, the Department Graduate Research and Creative Scholar Award from WMU, and the Leo R. Parpart Doctoral Fellowship from the Department of Physics, WMU, among many others.

Dr. Das has co-authored several research articles in WoS- and Scopus-indexed international journals, conference proceedings, and scholarly book chapters. He has also co-edited multiple books published by renowned international publishing houses, including IGI Global, Springer Nature, Wiley, Scrivener-Wiley, and Notion Press. Currently, Dr. Das is actively engaged in cutting-edge research with a keen interest in nanotechnology, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), and data science. His multifaceted contributions in teaching, research, and academic leadership reflect a dedicated professional who significantly advances the vision and mission of the institutions he serves.

Ms. Sayali Dilip Nibe is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Science and holds a Master’s degree in forensic science.

Her academic and professional expertise lies in forensic biology and DNA analysis, with hands-on training at the State Forensic Science Laboratory, Rajasthan. She has practical experience in DNA extraction, PCR techniques, genetic analysis, and forensic casework involving biological evidence, along with teaching experience at academic institutions.

She has actively participated in national and international conferences and is contributing to the field of forensic science. She is dedicated to academic excellence, research advancement, and the development of practical competencies in forensic science education.

LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jijo-easo-george-31185637/ Dr. Jijo Easo George has over six years of research experience across interdisciplinary areas of physics, materials science, microfluidics, nanofluidics, soft matter, and biomedical diagnostics. He completed his PhD at Manipal University, where his doctoral research focused on surface wettability tailoring using physical and chemical methods, including femtosecond laser patterning and oxygen plasma treatment, for the development of functional surfaces with controlled wetting properties. Following his PhD, he gained extensive postdoctoral research experience at IISER Tirupati, IIT Bombay, and the National University of Singapore. His postdoctoral work includes pump-free step emulsification, hydrogel bead generation, bacterial diffusion in confined microfluidic environments, microfluidic platforms for pathogen detection, and protein–DNA interaction studies under nanofluidic confinement using fluorescence microscopy and quantitative data analysis. Across these roles, he has developed strong expertise in experimental design, cleanroom fabrication, soft lithography, advanced microscopy, micro/nanofluidic device development, and Python/MATLAB-based data analysis, contributing to peer-reviewed publications, collaborative research projects, and interdisciplinary advances at the interface of physics, materials science, and biological systems.

Debojyoti Lahari holds an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from IIEST, Shibpur, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Mathematics from SR University, Warangal. He worked at several institutions before assuming his current role at Ajeenkya D Y Patil University.

With over twelve years of experience in higher and technical education, he has taught Mathematics and mentored students extensively. His academic interests focus on conceptual clarity, analytical thinking, and the practical application of mathematics in engineering and scientific disciplines.

Dr. Priyanka T. Kolhe is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of Physics, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Science, Ajeenkya D Y Patil University, Pune. She completed her Ph.D. in Physics in 2024. She qualified the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (SET) in Physics and completed her M.Sc. in Physics from the Department of Physics, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune.  With over five years of teaching experience, Dr. Kolhe has served at multiple reputed institutions including JSPM University, H.V. Desai College, Sangamner College, and V.P.A.S.C. College. She has experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and is actively guiding two Ph.D. scholars.

Her research expertise lies in low-energy ion beam irradiation, 2D material processing, and thin film device fabrication. She has extensive hands-on experience operating low-energy ion accelerators (up to 100 keV) at Savitribai Phule Pune University and working with advanced material synthesis. Her broader research interests include nanomaterials, radiation effects in semiconductors, quantum materials, photodetectors, solar cell devices, and emerging quantum technologies.

In addition to her research contributions, Dr. Kolhe has actively participated in national and international conferences, including multiple Raman Memorial Conferences at SPPU, faculty development programs on quantum computing and electronic materials, and workshops on solar energy harvesting and nanomaterials.

She has further enhanced her interdisciplinary expertise by completing certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Quantum Algorithms and Qiskit (NPTEL), and NBA Accreditation and Teaching & Learning in Engineering. She also possesses working knowledge of Python programming and quantum computing frameworks.

Dr. Kolhe’s academic profile reflects a strong integration of experimental material science, radiation physics, device fabrication, and emerging computational technologies. She remains committed to advancing research in 2D materials and mentoring students in cutting-edge areas of physics and interdisciplinary sciences.

Jyoti Sinha is an experienced IT professional and educator with over 10 years of industry experience (Accenture across Bangalore, Pune and Europe locations) in software development and maintenance across Cards, Payments, and Insurance domains, along with 8+ years of teaching experience in Computer Applications. She has strong expertise in mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, and DB2, and has worked on complex enterprise systems and large-scale projects.

She has conducted multiple Seminars on her knowledge of Functional Domain Area and also worked closely with Accenture Learning and Knowledge Management team to train the professions in coding area.

In the industry, Jyoti has contributed to business analysis, system design, and project execution, collaborating closely with business and product teams to deliver effective technology solutions. She has experience in working on Client Location in Europe (Helsinki) for the critical work delivery. She has also served as a Scrum Master, guiding agile teams, managing cross-team dependencies, and ensuring smooth project delivery.

Alongside her corporate experience, Jyoti has been actively involved in academic teaching and mentoring, helping students build strong foundations in computing and modern technologies. Her combined experience in industry projects, agile leadership, and education reflects her strong analytical abilities, leadership skills, and commitment to innovation and knowledge sharing.
