BAJA SAEINDIA launched its 17th edition on July 28, 2023, with exciting additions for the 2024 season. The competition, held at Ajeenkya DY Patil University, features 180 teams, including an international one, and introduces new categories – Hydrogen BAJA (hBAJA) and Autonomous BAJA (aBAJA). The event emphasizes inclusivity with a 15% female participation goal. Notable speakers, including Mr. Sanjay Nibandhe and Dr. K C Vora, highlighted the significance of alternative fuels and autonomous technology. Preliminary Round activities span three days, with subsequent Virtual BAJA SAEINDIA 2024 in November 2023 and Physical Dynamic Events from January 2024 across India.
