Visual Communication Design (VCD) Faculty

Role Overview

The Visual Communication Design Faculty will teach and mentor students in branding, typography, publication design, advertising, digital communication, storytelling, and visual systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Typography, Branding & Identity Design, Graphic Design, Publication Design, Packaging Design, and Motion Graphics.
  • Conduct studio sessions, workshops, and portfolio reviews.
  • Guide students in conceptual development and execution.
  • Train students in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
  • Support student participation in competitions, exhibitions, and industry projects.
  • Develop curriculum aligned with evolving communication design practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Communication Design / Graphic Design / Visual Communication / Applied Arts or related discipline.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing professional and academic work.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong typography and branding expertise.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and digital communication systems.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for visual ideation and content generation.
  • Excellent academic communication and mentoring skills.

Experience

4-10 years of industry and/or academic experience preferred.
