2017- 2019
Konecranes Oyj is a Finnish company, headquartered in Hyvinkää, which specializes in the manufacture and service of cranes and lifting equipment as well as the service of machine tools.
Konecranes is one of the largest crane manufacturers in the world and it produces about one in ten of the world’s cranes, of which around 80% are for use in factories, the rest at ports. Konecranes operates in over 50 countries and has about 16,500 employees.
One of our esteemed Alumni Mr. Sujay Patel from the M.Des Auto 2017 batch has been working with them as Industrial Designer, and thus he has initiated this proposal for Industry University Collaboration.
As part of that collaboration Mr. Amesh R N and Mr. Rajesh Nehete had visited the campus on 8th September 2023 and met with the staff as well as students. And had in depth discussion on future prospects of the collaboration.
2019-2023
Mr. Pranay Uttekar from the B.Des Automotive Design 2019 batch, who is currently working as Creative Designer at Mtek Engineering and Design at Pune. Has been a tremendous help to his Junior.
Mr. Ethan Alemao and Mr. Udeep Mallavolu from the final year Automotive Design has been granted internship at the same company with his referral.
Furthermore he is mentoring them directly at the workspace.
2019-2023
Dhawnil Gajjar, from the batch of B.Des Product Design 2019, who has been doing exceptionally well in the Industry as Senior Executive Design for Titan Company Limited, have been an immense help to his junior Kunj Parmar B.Des Product Design final year student assisting her in securing an internship with the same company. Which could also possibly be converted to a full time Job.
2010
Arush Agarwal, a prominent alumni of our institute from the M.Des Automotive Design 2010 batch, serves as a Board of Studies (BOS) member for the school.
He is currently working as Design Manager at Titan Company Limited. Through which he has also facilitated internship opportunities for our students.
2016-2020
Siddesh Hedaoo, a graduate from the B.Des Product 2016 batch, delivered a CMF course (Minor) for second-year B.Des students across all disciplines, along with a Design Review course for third-year students across all disciplines, in the capacity of a visiting faculty member.
Siddhesh who is currently leading the CMF department for one of the most promising EV companies, Simple Energy based in Bengaluru. Came back to campus to teach the basics of CMF to our second year students as part of a minor program. This was a 2 week long session starting from 26th February 2024 till 8th March 2024. Along with it Siddhesh took a 2 hour session for 3rd year students on CMF as well as his case study on Simple one, which is the first vehicle of Simple energy. This session was held on 1st March 2024.

B.Des School of Design 2022-2023
ADYPU School of Design has nurtured our creativity and honed our design skills. The faculty members are highly experienced professionals who guide us through every step of the design process. The emphasis on practical projects and industry collaborations has enhanced our understanding of design principles and market trends. The design studios and workshops provide us with a conducive environment to explore our ideas and turn them into reality. ADYPU SOD has provided us with a platform to showcase our talent and has prepared us for success in the competitive design industry.
BBA Media & Communication School of Film & Media 2022-2023
The ADYPU School of Film and Media has been an incredible platform for us to pursue our passion for storytelling through various visual mediums. The faculty members are accomplished professionals who have extensive industry experience. They not only teach us the technical aspects of filmmaking but also guide us in exploring our unique creative expression. The state-of-the-art facilities including the film studio, editing suites, and sound design lab provide us with a comprehensive learning experience. ADYPU SOFM has empowered us to create impactful narratives that can inspire and entertain audiences.
B.Tech School of Engineering 2022-2023
The ADYPU School of Engineering has provided us with an exceptional learning experience. The faculty members are highly knowledgeable and supportive, always going above and beyond to ensure that we understand the concepts. The campus facilities are top-notch, and the practical labs give us hands-on experience in our chosen field. ADYPU SOE has truly helped us develop the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the engineering industry.
I would like to thank the Training and Placement cell of Ajeenkya D Y Patil University for helping me successfully get placed due to your constant efforts in bringing us opportunities from the industry. You have consistently supported us, boosting our morale and offering all the necessary help.
