Ajeenkya D Y Patil University held its seventh convocation on January 20, 2023, with Dr. Ajeenkya DY Patil and Prof. Hrridaysh Deshpande leading the event. Over 2,000 attendees witnessed the ceremony to celebrate the achievements of 879 graduates in diverse programs.

Out of these, 151 students were awarded for their outstanding performance. Six individuals were honored with Doctor of Letters – Honoris Causa for their significant contributions to entrepreneurship, technology, healthcare, education, and society.

Dr Ajeenkya DY Patil highlighted the importance of graduates in tackling global challenges and advocated for incorporating Indian Knowledge Systems into education.

Prof. Hrridaysh Deshpande highlighted the innovative Hyflex Learning Model, combining face-to-face, online, and on-site learning for enhanced skill development. ADYPU’s 8th convocation is around the corner.
