VISIT TO GANESHA IDOLS OF HONOUR 

Pune is the cultural capital of India where Ganesha Chaturthi is celebrated with great joy. The students of Journalism and Media Production went in between the festive crowds of the city and did reporting and covered the five auspicious Ganesha idols of the city. The decorations were shot by the students and they interviewed the police and crowd management team, the organizers, and also the politicians who were present there came to seek the blessings of lord Ganesha. On the fourth day of Ganesha Chaturthi students covered five places with historical significance in the idols, Kesariwada, Tambde Jogeshwari, Guruji Taalim, Dagdushet Halwai, and Tulshibaugh. They also covered the first social Ganesha idol organization of India, the Bhausaheb Rangare Ganpati. Students received field reporting experience, captured the crowd, and got a core understanding of journalism in detail.
