Prints and Methods Workshop Boosts Print Techniques & Tools

As part of the Design and Art Workshop Series, Assistant Professor Shehwar Mohibi conducted a workshop on Prints and Methods for Product Design at the Singing Line Design Institute in Ichalkaranji.

The Design and Art Workshop Series nurtures design awareness in aspiring students, especially those gearing up for design education, through specialized workshops in studios and coaching classes across Maharashtra, led by the School of Design faculty.

During this particular event, Prof. Shehwar Mohibi visited the Singing Line Design Institute in Ichalkaranji and taught students how to express themselves using geometric shapes like circles, squares, triangles, and more. They learned how to create designs by arranging these shapes and printing them on fabric using stencils. Through a step-by-step demonstration of fabric printing, she imparted knowledge about colours, shapes, arrangements, printing skills, and more. The interactive workshop allowed students to create their own designs and print them on fabric tote bags.
