Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor in the School of Hotel Management, located in Pune. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures and conducting research in areas related to hotel management. The Assistant Professor will ensure that the curriculum is regularly updated and relevant to the needs of the industry. They will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding students, participating in departmental and university level committees, and engaging with industry partners.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or an equivalent master degree in Hotel Management or a related field from an accredited institution
• Publication in peer-reviewed journals, especially in areas of hotel management, culinary arts, hospitality, and tourism
• Strong command over the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject matter
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, with a minimum of two years of teaching experience at the graduate or undergraduate level
• Experience in curriculum development and the processes of program accreditation and academic quality assurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Research experience with focus in the areas of hotel management, hospitality, and tourism
• Ability to work in a team environment
