The Alumni Meet 2022 at Ajeenkya DY Patil University took place on 8th April 2022 at the Main Auditorium, Dental Building, and was a heartwarming occasion that reunited graduates from various disciplines. With over 230 attendees, the event provided a platform to reconnect, share stories, and strengthen bonds with their alma mater.
The evening opened with a welcome address by Janhavi Gandhe, Vice-President of the Student Council, followed by the ceremonial Saraswati Vandana and Diya lighting by Vice Chancellor Prof. Hridaysh Deshpande. In his keynote address, the Vice Chancellor encouraged alumni to remain closely connected to ADYPU through the Alumni Society and assured the university’s ongoing support.
Ms. Priya Abraham, Head of Student Services, emphasized the importance of alumni engagement and how consistent connections contribute to personal and professional growth. Inspiring testimonials from alumni like Ratheesh Nair, Roshni Bagchi, and Darshan Lad highlighted how ADYPU played a pivotal role in their success.
The event was organized in a welcoming and positive environment, enabling open dialogue and renewed friendships. It concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Ipsita Swain, a poolside dinner, and fun-filled SUNBURN event passes for alumni to unwind and celebrate.
The Alumni Meet 2022 reaffirmed the enduring spirit of ADYPU, bringing past and present together to celebrate a shared journey and future possibilities.
