Environmental Law

The minor on environmental law shall cover courses that will help the students understand and analyze the myriad issues that engulf the environment and help them to make informed decisions. These include National Environment Law, International Environmental Law, Environment Protection Mechanism, Climate Change: Law and Policy and Biodiversity Law.

International Law

International Law is a diverse arena focusing on the relationships between states and various other actors. This minor provides students with the skills to analyze how these relationships impact both the national and international levels. The courses you shall learn include Private International Law, International Human Rights Law and International Humanitarian Law.

Intellectual Property Law

Intellectual Property Law focuses on rights to inventions, discoveries, artistic, musical and literary works; design, symbols. This minor introduces students to varied concepts of Intellectual Property and develops their skills and knowledge to understand intellectual property rights. You shall learn the diverse legal aspects pertaining to patents, copyrights, trademarks, design and geographical identification.

Criminal Law

Criminal Law enhances knowledge and understanding of laws enacted to protect society and prevent crime. Students develop knowledge and understanding of crime and criminal justice administration. You shall study the Principles of Criminal Law, Administration of Criminal Justice, Comparative Criminal Procedure, Socio-Economic Offences and Cybercrimes and IT Offences.

Alternative Dispute Resolution

Alternative Dispute Resolution equips students with skills and knowledge to become specialists in the field. You shall in depth the foundations of Alternative Dispute Resolution, Principles of Arbitration, Principles of Mediation, Principles of Negotiation and Conciliation and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards.
