DYPDC’s Bachelor of Design program in fashion Design is designed to provide fashion designing aspirants with the skills needed to realize their full creative potential. The program curriculum combines the study of design aesthetics, market research, business management, marketing strategies and innovative technology to foster creative entrepreneurship in the students.
The curriculum also aims to inculcate in students an understanding of the social, cultural, economic and political contexts of fashion design, so as to help them take a realistic and practical approach to design.
At the end of this course, students will be able to integrate their theoretical and practical skills to practice fashion designing as a profession. Students will be able to make business decisions using their knowledge of sales and marketing and demonstrate the application of technology in making advances in the field of fashion design.
DYPDC School of Design offers highly experiential, hands-on programs with a unique learning experience to explore new ways of generating cutting-edge solutions using creativity and design principles.

Our primary focus is to ensure that students develop creative thinking and are industry-ready when they graduate. Students graduating from the DYPDC School of Design will be able to design cutting-edge solutions to address consumer problems and industry needs.
Students graduating with a Bachelors of Design degree in Fashion Designing would be able to enter the fashion and garment/apparel industry to work for fashion designers, fashion houses, garment and apparel manufacturers, sportswear manufacturers, merchandising manufacturers, etc. Students may also opt to pursue higher education in Fashion Designing with different specializations.
