Anne Boddington is a professor at Emerita of Design Innovation at Kingston University. Educated as an architect, urbanist and cultural geographer, she has over 35-years’ experience in higher education and over 20 in senior leadership positions, most recently as Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research, Business & Innovation.
She has previously taught architecture and research methods and worked as a Head of School and Dean of College for Arts & Humanities at the University of Brighton, prior to taking on a series of senior executive roles at Kingston University. Her experience includes strategic and organisational design, business planning/finance, quality assurance in teaching and research, career development and international partnerships.
She has worked with the UK Government’s Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and the Higher
Education Academy, with museums including the V&A, a range of cultural agencies, and as a strategic research reviewer for UK Research & Innovation.
She is currently Chair of the National Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Research (NICER)
programme advisory board and Chair of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 for
Sub Panel 32 for Art & Design: History, Practice & Theory.
Anne has a wide range of international and governance experience. She is a longstanding
member of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications
(HKCAAVQ) and she has chaired and undertaken research and quality reviews for a number of
international government bodies including in India, Estonia, Portugal, Israel.
She has been an independent Governor in Further and Higher Education, a trustee of a number
of charities and of the Design Council since 2015. Anne is also a Design Council ‘expert’, an
independent mentor, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a registered architect and an
academic member of the RIBA.
Dr Jeffrey M Priest

Dr. Priest received his Bachelor of Science degree (Biology, 1980) and Master of Science Education degree (1982) from the Florida Institute of Technology and Ph.D. (Zoology/Wildlife Biology, 1986) from Southern Illinois University.
During his 31 years at the University of South Carolina Aiken, Dr. Priest served in various leadership roles including the Director of the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center and Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
While serving as Director of the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center, Dr. Priest served as the Assistant Director of the South Carolina Statewide Systemic Initiative, which established 13 regional science and mathematics hubs throughout South Carolina.
As Dean, he oversaw the successful national accreditation of the School of Education by the National Council of Accreditation of Teacher Educators (now CAEP). As Provost, Dr. Priest helped to establish numerous degree programs, including the MBA, BS in Industrial Process Engineering, BS in Clinical Laboratory Science, and BS in Applied Computer Science (Applied Gaming, Cybersecurity).
During his career, Dr. Priest made over 50 presentations at national professional societal meetings. He also has received over $21 million in grants from organizations such as the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Education, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Dr. Priest has received a number of awards over his career including the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Science Awareness; South Carolina Science Council/South Carolina Hall of Science and Technology Helms Citation of Excellence Award; South Carolina Board of Education Award for significant contributions to public schools; and the National Wildlife Federation Environmental Conservation Fellow.
Upon his retirement, Dr. Priest received The Order of the Silver Crescent award which is the state of South Carolina’s highest civilian award for significant contributions, leadership, volunteerism, and lifelong influence within a region or community.

Dr Anand Khandwekar

Dr Anand has over twelve years of national and international experience in biomedical engineering, Biotechnology and Life Sciences. He brings in considerable experience in technology development and commercialization, working with start-up companies and is engaged in leading academic and research initiatives.
A post-doctoral fellow from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge), Dr Anand is instrumental in setting up the Symbiosis Health & Technology Park at Symbiosis International University. During his stint at Jaypee University of Information Technology (Solan), he has developed biomaterials & drug delivery laboratory. He has worked as a Research Scholar at Bhabha Atomic Research Center.
Dr Anand has published over 15 research articles in leading international journals of high repute. He is the peer reviewer for top-rated international journals like Journal of Bio-medical Materials Research (Wiley Publications), European Cells and Materials (Published by AO Research Institute Davos) and the likes.
For his research development, Dr Anand has several honors and awards to his credit. He is the recipient of DST-SERB Young Scientist Grant Award (2015) by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Besides
He has been awarded SIEMENS-DAAD Fellowship Awarded with Siemens Sandwich Scholarship to work at Max Bergmann centre, Dresden, Germany. He has received Travel Grant Award by the Department of Science and Technology for attending European Society of Biomaterials (ESB) conference in Lausanne (Switzerland) & Canadian Biomaterial Society (CBS) conference in Quebec City (Canada).

Dr Manju Rughwani is a multi-faceted media, entertainment and communication professional with over 15 years of experience in the field of journalism, communication, public-relations and media training. Her passion lies in excelling her career in three C’s–Content, Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility.
She has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals. Her interest research areas lies in understanding the business dynamics & management techniques of media & communication industries, particularly in the cyberspace and understanding the insights of New Age Digital Audiences.
Her specialization areas are journalism, advertising, public relations, experiential communication, corporate communications and content publishing.
As a content consultant, she has strategized and executed content for leading national and international publishing firms. Her articles have been published in India’s leading newspapers, magazines and web portals. To her credit, she has edited two books and developed content for different industries and non-profit associations.
