Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering’s B. Tech in Automotive Product Engineering seeks to equip students with the fundamentals of automotive design and manufacturing. The program takes an integrated approach to help students gain an in-depth understanding of automotive production, automotive product design, future technologies, and market analytics.
The program aims to address the growing demand for automotive product design specialists in India. Students completing this course will be able to assimilate into the global automotive industry including original equipment manufacturers and their supply chains.
The course covers a vast number of topics including computer-aided engineering, components and subsystems engineering, technologies for next-generation mobility solutions, etc.
At the end of this course, students will be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the design of contemporary mobility components and innovation in automotive design.
Students completing this course will be able to find a suitable role in the automotive industry or connected industry domains in the area of component design, testing, R&D, technical support, manufacturing process management, etc.
