Dr. Ranjit Kumar from the Department of Biotechnology was selected as the R10 ACEI Entrepreneurship Ambassador by IEEE Region 10 – Adhoc Committee on Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ACEI). This prestigious recognition highlights his potential and dedication to fostering a strong local innovation ecosystem.

Earlier this month, Dr. Kumar achieved another milestone with the acceptance of his research paper titled “AI-Driven Prediction of Postpartum Depression: A Machine Learning Approach for Early Risk Assessment” fororal presentation at the International Conference on Implementation and Innovation in Technology 2025. The paper has also been accepted for full publication in the IEEE I2ITCON 2025, a Scopus-indexed journal.

This achievement highlights Dr. Kumar’s dedication to leveraging artificial intelligence in healthcare, particularly for early diagnosis and mental health awareness areas that need both urgent attention and thoughtful innovation.
