Location : Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Pune
    Key Responsibilities:
      1. Strategic Corporate Engagement:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners.
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration with businesses across various sectors to support the university’s academic, research, and placement goals.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the university and the corporate sector, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.

    2. Internships and Placements:
    • Oversee the coordination of internship and placement activities, ensuring that students have access to high-quality opportunities with leading companies.
    • ollaborate with corporate partners to identify internship and job opportunities that align with the university’s academic programs and students’ career aspirations.
    • Work with the placement team to prepare students for recruitment processes, including resume building, interview preparation, and professional networking.

    3. Corporate Training and Development:
    • Develop and promote corporate training programs, executive education, and continuing education initiatives tailored to the needs of businesses.
    • Partner with corporate clients to design and deliver customized training solutions that enhance employee skills and organizational performance.
    • Facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the university and corporate partners through workshops, seminars, and guest lectures.

    5. Industry-Academia Collaboration:
    • Facilitate collaborative research projects, consultancy services, and innovation initiatives between the university and corporate partners.
    • Build and maintain a network of corporate sponsors, ensuring that they receive appropriate recognition and return on investment.
    • Work with the university’s development office to explore new avenues for corporate philanthropy and donations.

    5. Student Academic Success and Support:
    • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance student retention, progression, and academic success.
    • Promote the involvement of industry experts in curriculum design, advisory boards, and guest lectures to ensure academic programs remain relevant and responsive to industry needs.
    • Encourage faculty and students to engage in joint research projects, internships, and real-world problem-solving with corporate partners.

    6. Alumni Relations and Networking:
    • Leverage the university’s alumni network to strengthen corporate connections and create new opportunities for collaboration.
    • Organize alumni events, industry networking sessions, and corporate meet-ups to build strong ties between alumni and the corporate sector.
    • Engage with alumni working in leadership positions within the corporate world to explore partnership opportunities.

    7. Brand Building and Corporate Communication:
    • Promote the university’s brand and reputation within the corporate sector through targeted marketing, communication, and public relations efforts.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the visibility of the university’s programs, research, and achievements in the business community.
    • Represent the university at corporate events, conferences, and industry forums, building relationships with key stakeholders.

    8. Event Management and Corporate Engagement Activities:
    • Plan and organize corporate engagement events such as career fairs, corporate conclaves, industry roundtables, and networking events.
    • Collaborate with faculty and staff to create opportunities for students to interact with industry professionals and gain practical insights.

    9. Resource and Budget Management:
    • Manage the budget and resources allocated to the Corporate Relations office, ensuring efficient and effective use of funds.
    • Oversee the allocation of resources for corporate engagement initiatives,ensuring they are adequately supported.
    • Advocate for necessary resources to support academic programs and initiatives.
    • Advocate for additional resources and support to expand the scope and impact of corporate relations activities.

    10.Reporting and Analytics:
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corporate relations programs, using data and analytics to inform decision-making.
    • Prepare regular reports on corporate engagement activities, outcomes, and impact, presenting them to university leadership.
    • Ensure transparency and accountability in the management of corporate partnerships and resources.


    Qualifications:
    • A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, with extensive experience in corporate relations, business development, or a related area.
    • Proven track record of successful corporate partnership development and relationship management.
    • Strong understanding of industry trends, business needs, and the higher education landscape.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience in managing internships, placements, corporate training, and industry-focused academic programs.

    Desirable Attributes:
    • Strong connections with industry leaders, corporate organizations, and professional bodies.
    • Experience in corporate training, executive education, or consultancy services.
