Ensure effective cash flow management, optimizing the university’s financial resources.
3. Accounting and Financial Reporting:
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and accounts in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure the integrity of financial data.
Ensure that financial reporting is transparent, reliable, and meets the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
4. Audit and Compliance:
Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and regulations.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the university’s assets and ensure financial accuracy.
Ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including income tax, GST, and other applicable taxes.
5. Investment and Asset Management:
Oversee the management of the university’s investments, ensuring optimal returns within acceptable risk parameters.

Qualifications:
A Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), or an MBA in Finance with significant experience in financial management, preferably in the education sector.
Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, and management.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements in India.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
