Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering’s B. Tech in Biotechnology Engineering is an interdisciplinary course that integrates modules of science, technology and business management.
The program, designed to meet the rising demand for niche experts in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries and government agencies, prepares engineers for a pioneering career in the field of biotechnology. The curriculum covers a range of modules covering molecular biology, fundamental topics in biotechnology, business management practices, etc.
The curriculum also integrates the fundamentals of business management and entrepreneurship to prepare students to become biotech entrepreneurs, pharmaceutical business, etc.
