A Two-Stage
Process

Stage 1:
Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET)

An Entrance Test shall be qualifying with qualifying marks as 50%. The syllabus of the Entrance Test shall consist of 50% of research methodology and 50% shall be subject specific.

Stage 2:
Interview / viva-voce

An interview / viva-voce to be organized by the ADYPU when the candidates are required to present their research interest / area through a presentation before a duly constituted Doctoral Research Committee/Fellowship Committee.

Format for Proposed
Research Idea

The candidates of ADYPU Ph.D. Program are expected to submit the research proposal in the prescribed format mentioned below:

  • Name of Applicant
  • Faculty
  • Substream
  • Specialization

Title: Authors should attempt at their best to focus the titles of their research projects to be in line with national needs and the research themes of the university.

Abstract: A short summary (no more than 600 words) of your research proposal and its significance.The students are expected to cite references as well as bibliography in the Harvard Business Review (HBR) Referencing style.

The Research Proposal should have brief description of the research plan focusing on

  • Research Background
  • Significance of the Research
  • Research Methodology
  • Benefit/Effect of the Result obtained from Research
